Addendum: Ecclesiastes 12: 13-14
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
PLease notice verse 14 also. GOD shall bring EVERY work into judgment.
Notice the words EVERY and WORK.
GOD does not sleep. He does not MISS anything, at anytime, or anywhere.
He sees and hears EVERYTHING from EVERYBODY and has a RECORD of it with YOUR name on it....
EACH and every word you say, thought you think, thing you do (WORK) is recorded and it will be judged when you stand before HIM one day.
The WORKS that will stand the test of fire are those things done that bring HONOR, praise, or glory to HIS name and DONE with that Purpose or intent. Things that CHRIST honoring sop that PEOPLE CAN SEE HIM living in you and through you!
EVERY SINGLE THING, WORK, that I DO on this earth is recorded and will be judged one day.
Imagine, if we lived our daily lives with the KNOWLEDGE that every word we utter, and every deed we do, is being watched and listened to by the Creator of the universe. How different we might all be in the words we choose, the WAY we communicate with others, and perhaps live our lives, as short as they truly are, knowing that at the end, you will stand before HIM, and that YOU and ME are without excuse......
We do have the written WORD of GOD readily available here in this country. On television, in the CHURCH, on THIS board.
We are ALL without excuse......
Many days I am ashamed. Most days. I have not shared the glorious GOSPEL of CHRIST with anyone, pointed them to ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH HIM, or been less than kind to some stranger or my wife.... or you even..
THAT is not being Christlike.
Anyway, just a warning that according to many places in scripture we are told that our WORDS and our WORKS (DEEDS) are important and being judged and records kept of them.
