Zim,

Vehicles and generators would be disabled. They will be able to farm what they can with their shovels and what they can water, if they don't need an electric pump, as long as their ammo holds out. No travel. No grid. No electronic communications. No ice. Have you seen grocery stores clear out in a day or two when a hurricane's coming? The food would be gone in an emp moment.

I'd say buy a horse, but someone would want to eat it.

North Korea has made test runs on our coast with a missile on board, hidden in the hold.

Lkorrow> If they pull off a nation-wide EMP attack, it's curtains for virtually all of us outside that thing.

Not really.
For folks who live in farming communities they
will survive, and still have plenty of food.

Places a fair ways away from where the EMP bombs go
off will probably have many trucks, generators, etc.
survive and they will be able to recover from it.

But, if I was a farmer out in the boonies of Pennsylvania
and I heard New York was desperate for some food aid,
and that they was rioting because they had no electricity,
I darn sure would not risk my truck and my life trying
to bring them some vittles.

Zim.
