Oh, they exist. There just aren't very many that are actually true.
As I sometimes tell my office's resident conspiracy nut - a guy who believes everything from "space aliens colonized the Earth millions of years ago"... to "doctors intentionally don't cure cancer" ... to "the moon landings were faked"... to "fluroide was put in our water to make us sick" - as I sometimes tell *him*, YOU MUST USE CARE WHEN CHOOSING WHICH CONSPIRACIES to believe. The overwhelming majority are bogus, and if you believe them all, your credibility winds up being sacrificed.
