This is why, although I dislike Pelosi as a person, I like her as minority leader. She's done the Republican party *so* much good.
Only a few years ago, the G.O.P.'s prospects were dismal. I remember serious conjecture that there might NEVER be another Republican President and that the G.O.P should break up.
How things have changed. Today, I'm hearing those same stories about the Democratic Party. Nancy Pelosi deserves much of the credit.
