Elyria is west of Cleveland by maybe 25 miles and next to Lake Erie.
I went to see Lake Erie yesterday evening, a ten minute drive from the hotel. It is the same feeling I get when standing on the shores of the ocean. All you can see is water to the horizon. The Lake is about 57 miles across. That is pretty huge for a lake. More like an inland sea. And to think it is the second smallest of the great lakes is kind of humbling as to the size and magnitude of the other three, Superior, Huron, and Michigan.
I am glad I went to actually get up close with the lake though. It is also the shallowest of the great lakes with tremendous undercurrents I am told.
So I am getting ready for three meetings today.
Then a four hour drive back home to mrs. micro after that. Hopefully be home before dark.
Hope to create some business today and make some money.
See you all likely tomorrow as I will be gone all day and the laptop is packed and in car trunk.
I have enjoyed reading the board yesterday and today as it is something that reminds me of just being home.
Glad Nemo is back home safe and sound too and I have immensely the pictures he so generously shared....
