De, I remember that scenario being mentioned a lot, but never knew it was in a movie. Figures.

It's not so far-fetched. The N. Koreans have made a couple of passes of our shores with missiles onboard, hidden in the hold. And the Russians sell container launchers.

Gratefully, the Charleston incident wasn’t dominating the news this morning.

Apparently, a conspiracy theorist on youtube made the claim of a dirty bomb on the Maersk Memphis ship in the harbor. The terminal and part of the river were evacuated. Boaters were escorted off the water. Four containers were examined and the all-clear given after the false threat.

May this character pay for all FBI/LLE, etc. costs.

re: 'are investigating a “potential threat” in a container ship, the Maersk Memphis, in the Port of Charleston’s Wando terminal. '

Intriguing - since the plot of the 1983 movie 'Special Bulletin' is that "a terrorist group brings a homemade atomic bomb aboard a tugboat in the harbor of Charleston, South Carolina." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_Bulletin
