>> ...funny it hasn't collapsed like the twin towers.
That should crank monkeytrots up.
Why should that crank me up ?
Don't remember ever subscribing to the numerous idiocies surrounding the 9-11 take down - looked at a lot of the so-called theories, supposed rebuttals to the obvious of what we saw - and never saw anything coming close to refuting what we all saw with our own eyes.
Planes crashed into the twin towers- they burned hotter'n hell - and collapsed. Have always considered it a miracle that they came straight down and didn't tip over. I credit that fact to foresight in engineering- not to some crazy 'there were explosives secretly planted blah blah' bs.
A few thousand gallons of av-fuel pack a heck of a lot of energy- more than sufficient to take those towers down. As we all saw.
Perhaps actually seeing Air Force fire teams practice on real fires, with av-fuel burning real planes- gave me an appreciation of just how dang hot those fires burn. Or perhaps having a small fire back in the 70's while rebuilding a chevy inline 6 on a 66 Chevy pickup, fed by a 1/4" fuel line and seeing the galvanized steel roof 12 feet up glow red since I was unable to put the fire out and the fire dept. took about 20 minutes to get there (no phone - had to run a ways to find one) - gave me an appreciation that 'colours' my vision.
Or perhaps using a cutting torch has taught me that STEEL BURNS - and it burns damned hot- also releasing a hell of a lot of energy.
Just heat it up to cherry red, cut the flame, and continue cutting with nothing but the oxygen stream.
That should convince the idiot 'truthers' - but it won't. They are beyond reasoning.
Anyhoooz - nope, doesn't crank me up a'tall. *s*
