re: "Today in Northern Virginia, it's hot."

And that reminds me...

You remember that little trickle of water that caused me so much grief with my driveway? Well, I told the guy doing the excavating that if he gets bored, he could go to the area where the trickle gets wide and deep and change it from being backyard swimming pool sized to something bigger (Olympic swimming pool sized?). If he gets bored.

He says he'd be happy to - if he gets bored - but later, after the septic guy is done writing reports to the government describing the wetland conditions on my property.

I think he might be on to something.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

re: "...twas in the 90s here yesterday and I cut grass."

Today in Northern Virginia, it's hot. 93° hot. It's not a record or anything. The record would be 96° set in 2002, but it's still hot. And proof positive of Global Warming. How else could it get within THREE LOUSY DEGREES of the record on this day in June?
