Why the Quote of the YEAR AWARD ?

Good Question.

The answer is simple - because this Quote best summarizes how to stem the growth of the largest threat to our freedoms that exist - have no fear.

Last night, Cap'n Nemo posted an excellent article Authored by Ryan McMaken via The Mises Institute, that summarized the ugliness of that DHS weasel's statement - quite accurately, and correctly.
