My son's physics class has been tasked with building rockets which they'll launch in early June. No kits are allowed but the teacher will provide motors. Each group's rocket must carry an egg as a payload, rise to at least 50 feet (hopefully much higher) and return the egg safely to earth.

We went to a craft store looking for an appropriate tube to use as a rocket body but had no luck. My wife then suggested that we use Pringles cans. Great idea! It wasn't until I was at the supermarket yesterday that I remembered that Pringles is a Kellogg's company - so THAT idea went out the window.

No worries. I instead bought three cans of scouring powder. They'll work just as well and were even cheaper than Pringles. Moreover, we can pour the scouring powder into a jar and not have to worry about it going bad. I don't know what I would have done with three cans of Pringles. I don't much care for them.

It's not a big deal but Kellogg's just lost another sale.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
