Hyup - U.S. history relayed third hand via a second hand quote from furriners (McIntyre recounting of Sven Cedergren history) can contain errors. There were 'green berets' in the Korean War - they just weren't U.S. forces - they were worn by Brits of the 41 Independent Commando - Royal Marines. Sven was in the U.S. Army - served in the Korean War- and may have fought with (ie.alongside) those 'green berets'.

Ah - Francis' choice of an opening quote to his fine hunting piece contained an inaccuracy that detracted (for at least two folk here) from his wonderful piece.
