Hi guys,

Memory loss here - not the computer - but that human thing called a brain that my hard drive is full on and the delete key and restore key are out of control on.

Regarding ads. Quite a while back, several someones suggested editing some sort of file - I can't remember what it's called for the life of me - but there are several different versions out there - that when an ad comes up for something that's in that file, the computer catches it and sends it back to the computer rather than going out to the web for it - speeds the computer up and eliminates a lot of the ads. Am I making any sense or have I got that too "dumbed down" to the point that it's not decipherable?

What was it called and does anyone have any links to one that's on the web. I sort of remember how to do the edit and where to find the file - if I just could remember what file I was looking for!

If nothing else - at least I've made you all laugh and given you a chuckle for the day ;-)

Sun :-)
