We took a gamble this week and plunked down one dollar for this Epson EMP-S1 Projector. It has no power cord so we can't tell if it works. However, I just found the power cord for $1.43 on Amazon, so we'll know in a few days.

In the way back, like 2003, this was a GREAT projector. It works well even in a lit room. Its MSRP was $1,795, though it was quickly reduced to $999 and discontinued a year later when the new model came out. But does it work?

We could also find that it works but the $200 bulb needs replacing. Somehow I doubt that it will be $1.43...

Unless there's an interesting development, this will be my last comment about the clock.

I found a site discussing Emperor clocks. One of the readers wrote:


The information on the brochure states:

"Emperor Clock Company
Model 101 Movement
8 Day, Weight-Driven, Chain Wind, Full

The clock case is a Emperor Model 120 Series.
Model 101 Movement? Model 120 Case Series? No wonder I'm confused!
