Ebay has other examples of our Emperor 120 clock. There's considerable price variance. See the image below.

#2 looks to be missing its crowning adornment. #3 has the exact clock face as ours and is the least expensive. Is it actually less valuable
than the others, or is the bidding at an earlier stage than for the others? I dunno.

There's a lot I don't know. I don't know, for instance, if our clock works. The other furniture at this auction was pretty nice, so if the clock
is broken I'd be surprised. What's the difference between a "Model 101" and a "Model 120"? We've probably got a 101.

Update: Now I'm back to being confused. The EmperorClock.com site has a photo of a Model 120K with Hindu-Arabic (non-Roman) numerals
like ours has. So is ours a Model 120? I still think it's a Model 101, but I'm less certain. I've checked the clock and there are no obvious stamps
or stickers that would tell us.

And now I've found a Model 101 on Ebay that looks just like the 120 I first found: Roman numerals on the face, and "Tempus Fugit" decorating
the area above the face. There's another site with a Model 101 that says it is 90 inches (7.5 feet) tall. (They're asking $5,000.) Ours is 6'1".

I think maybe there's no way of knowing what we have until we crank it up and see what it does. The 120 chimes every 15 minutes - that much
I know. Maybe the 101 does too.

BTW, the cheapest grandfather clock on EmperorClock.com is $3,998.

Our clock is on Ebay for $1,709.95 (plus shipping - though that'd be free if we were willing to drive 5 hours south.) There are some cosmetic differences: Roman
numerals -vs- Hindu-Arabic numerals. Two pictures of the globe at the top and "Time Flies" written in Latin -vs- a deer standing next to a stream and
the numbers 1 to 30, possibly indicating a calendar. See for yourself:
