I am informed WE are going to go watch my granddaughter play softball at the University in Cedarville, Ohio. She is leading the team in slugging percentage and homers. A couple days ago she parked one over the left center wall and it was still rising when it went over. It was a Grand Slam., 4 RBI dinger! She is the Catcher and leader of the women's team..
And yet, she does not look like a catcher. She's a trim yet muscular young lady with a cannon for a throwing arm..
25 have been thrown out attempting to steal on her this season alone. only 1 has been successful... That's pretty amazing.. She was recruited by Division 1 schools to come play for them as well. But her parents and she wanted to go to this D2 university which is ever growing.. The campus is better than many D1 schools.
It's my intention to try to help pay off the student loans for her and her older brother who will graduate Thomas More University next school year..Top of his class with a perfect GPA. He is a soft spoken youngster who is growing up and very athletically built.. Strong as a bull. He comes over to my house to help me do things I am no longer able to do physically... I am blessed with wonderful grandkids and daughters both. Even the sons in law are pretty decent..
So its getting close to time to leave. I bid you so long for a while..
While I hate to admit it, I am fighting depression. Likely need to go see doc and get a little stronger than the bare minimal pill I take at night..
