Ya ever hear the AK47 being fired AT You in your "career?"

Of course the mortar shells raining down on ya was also courtesy of them.

To say that we did not train for Jungle combat would be an understatement. We trained "on the job" and every day before we left on ambush we wondered WHO would not make it back. Whose turn was it going to be this time?

Ya never lose that memory..

...memory is not what it used to be, but I have still not forgotted hiding under my desk a couple of times a week cause the rooskies were sure to nuke us any day and I have not forgotten the Russians financing the slaughter of nearly 60,000 of my closest friends.
