clo, you never cease to show your ignorance.

In this case, you show that you haven't a clue what free speech is all about. Hate speech is allowed to people who have free speech. The idea is that government cannot prohibit OPINION, even if that OPINION is appalling to some. Alex Jones's OPINION is protected, just as is that of the person who would deny him that protection. The idea is that no person in America's government has the power to halt speech on the grounds that "I don't like what you're saying so I am going to jail, fine or kill you if you say it." That's what this is about: Allowing one person's OPINION (that something is reprehensible) to legally prevail over another's.

By the way: What does it say that you seek the opinion of a Brit - a person who no right to free speech - for his take on an American Constitutional right? Piers Morgan has no more understanding of or appreciation for the Bill of Rights than, well, *you*. I'd ask if you remember anything at all from your high school civics class, but we both know the answer to that, don't we?
