I guess you've never heard the phrase "Ignorance is no excuse." It's a staple of American law.

In the United States, the removal of government secrets to any non-secure venue constitutes espionage - a pretty serious crime. That's just the law. And ignorance of it is no excuse.

Now, Trump DOES have an excuse - namely, that a President can declassify anything he wants, and there are no procedures defining how a President does that. That's probably a flaw in how things work, but the flaw isn't Trump's fault.

A Veep doesn't have that power. So, did Vice President Biden take government secrets to a non-secure venue? It sure looks like it. There's no question that they were classified. And he stored them in numerous insecure locations including his garage.

It's interesting to me that your position isn't that Joe Biden is innocent. You're acknowledging that he's guilty. You're only defending him on the grounds that espionage committed out of ignorance is "a nothing burger." But, then, you aren't too bright. You probably don't know about the Navy sailor who took a photo from the top of his sub and ignorantly posted it to the internet. He was given five years.

It's good to see that you're back. I hope you have a great time posting to a board that gets, on average, 3 posts per day.
