that's an interesting thought..
What the vast majority of people never seem to bring to the forefront of the cerebelum is the knowledge or thought of who actually ordained "marriage" or is responsible for it..
So I would doubt highly that the populace as a whole would do that.. In the eyes of the everyday person who has no moral compass or knowledge of God marriage is just something people do. Any people. Any kind of people.
Once upon a time what was a holy and sacred VOW, and the Bible makes clear that GOD listens to vows made and remembers them, has now become not much more than mere luip service and entertainment. Their is no "marriage" where two souls become "one" and work all their lives to maintain that. Its too much effort in todays throw away society which has NO fear of God..
So most so called marriages are nothing short of just a public feel good show or some kind of heathen ritual to make those involved feel good about themselves.
It's one thing to openly murder living babies in the womb but quite another to take away their sinful abominations and idolatrous rituals.
Personally I could care less what these heathen do. I know what God thinks and instructed on these topics. I know we are not long upon this earth either.
As in the days of Noah people were doing the same exact things. There is nothing new under the sun.. Sin is still sin and it should be repulsive to all who know God.
God does not smile upon or wink at sin. It grieves Him..
Just my half cent rant about today's "societal behavior".
I don't think much is going to change...
