This is the stuff of Third World Dictators.

Former Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Clark recounted to Fox News host Tucker Carlson the FBI raiding his home, dragging him into the street, and seizing his electronics in connection with the Jan. 6 inquisition.

The raid was ostensibly one of many on Wednesday morning at various locations of those who support former President Donald Trump’s assertions of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

“What he did wrong was simply call for an investigation into voter fraud,” Tucker Carlson pointed out on his show Thursday referring to Trump’s efforts at looking into voter fraud. He called the raid “Soviet” in nature.

“It is,” replied Clark. He went on to elaborate that the feds searched his home for three-and-a-half hours. They wouldn’t even let him put on pants and made him stand outside like that in an evident move to embarrass and degrade him.

“At what point can we say the Department of Justice, where you once served, is a political instrument, it’s completely out of control?” Carlson asked Clark.

“Yeah, I think this is highly politicized and it’s also part, Tucker if you didn’t know it, of a nationwide effort yesterday,” Clark responded. “There were multiple states where multiple people were roughly simultaneously raided for their electronic devices. And that obviously requires a high level of coordination.”

“I just think we’re living in an era that I don’t recognize and increasingly, Tucker, I don’t recognize the country anymore with these Stasi-like things happening,” he asserted.

“Yeah, this is Stalinist,” Carlson charged. “At some point, somebody’s gonna fight back and it’s going to get super ugly. I pray that it doesn’t happen but I think it probably will.”

On Thursday, Clark’s name was splashed across the news cycle attempting to make him look guilty and as bad as possible. Former Department of Justice officials in the Trump administration testified before the committee that Clark was a key figure in the former president’s alleged plan to remain in power after the election.

A former White House attorney accused Clark of hoping that Trump would appoint him acting attorney general so he could carry out a plan that was an alleged felony.

The Jan. 6 committee presented video testimony from former impeachment attorney Eric Herschmann, who claimed Clark explained what he would do as acting attorney general to overturn the election.

“And when he finished discussing what he planned on doing, I said, ‘Good, f*cking’ — excuse me, sorry, ‘Effing a-hole. Congratulations, you just admitted your first step or act you’d take as attorney general would be committing a felony and violating Rule 6(e). You’re clearly the right candidate for this job,” Herschmann stated.

Others who testified called it “nuts” and a “murder-suicide pact,” according to Axios. His accusers asserted that Clark wanted the DOJ to notify top Georgia officials the DOJ had found evidence of voter fraud. He reportedly wanted a special session in order to send Trump electors to be certified in DC. They called Clark a “true believer” in Trump’s voter fraud accusations.

The Center for Renewing America, where Clark currently works, confirmed the search of his home, calling it a “weaponization of government.”

“The new era of criminalizing politics is worsening in the US. Yesterday more than a dozen DOJ law enforcement officials searched Jeff Clark’s house in a pre-dawn raid, put him in the streets in his pajamas, and took his electronic devices. All because Jeff saw fit to investigate voter fraud. This is not America, folks,” the group’s president Russ Vought, the former Office of Management and Budget director under Trump, proclaimed in a statement to CNN.

“The weaponization of government must end. Let me be very clear. We stand by Jeff and so must all patriots in this country,” Vought declared.
