I think the defense attorney should have reminded the jury that if any of them are ever put in life threatening danger in the future, do they wantthe right to defend themselves from someone with a loaded gun pointed at them or would they rather be dead and a note in the news?
...the media is going in for Conviction By Threat by telling everyone that if Rittenhouse is aquitted there will be riots again. Meanshile the prosecution is trying to amend their charges to "lesser offenses" to try and give the jury a compromise position. I call this "retroactive flag throwing" used for when the prosecution blows it and goes for the gimmee putt rule.
