Alec Baldwin Gun Ignoramus!
...first thing ya do when / if somebody hands you a gun is to check and see if it is loaded. Even if they checked it before they gave it to you and you saw them do it. Doesn't matter. Check it anyway. It can't hurt and it damned well might help.
...Never point a gun at anyone unless you intend to shoot them and face the consequences. Even if the shooting is JUSTIFIED there are consequences. There will be a hearing and you will need a lawyer regardless. You could be indicted by a grand jury or just bound over and then your lawyer will cost you more. Suppose the court and the system decides you are blameless. That does not mean the family of the injured or dead individual won't get it kicked up to federal court. It also don't mean you won't get sued for WRONGFUL DEATH. Anoher financial bonanza for your lawyer friends.
...enough on this for now. I get pissed off about stupid assholes with guns. If ya know one, buy him a chain saw or a circular saw. He will have his floor full of trigger fingers in no time.
