I see the slight bit of humor in your remark. When you are on the receiving end from people that you considered your friends who would not listen to reason, and it was no skin off their backs what I want to read if I ever had the opportunity, which would be slim to none, it was an event and thing I did not want but was not going to have statements made that did not reflect my position, and even if it did, am I not entitled as a U.S. citizen to want to form my own opinions or look at things of interest?
So that fiasco was about censorship and thought control because I dared to not just accept a story from a government that has lied to us many times already.
So my character and my profession were assasinated and no explanatioon I tried to tell was acceptable.
When you are on the receiving end of a gang assault like that, from your supposed friends, it isn't funny..
I would that it had not occured but I will defend my right to think what I want, review what I want, believe what I want, and if others want to throw away the Bill of Rights they clainm to stand for, so be it. That was biggest bunch of bullshit trashing because someone did not like that I want to read and see what some people came up with as engineers who have PHDs so I can form my own opinion from what they found...
SO, I am not taking the incident lightly. I have been removed as moderator from a board I gave over to the current owner. I begged you to allow me to restore it and you did. I am grateful for that..
I have apologized to Zim. Twice. Publicly and by email.
Nothing has come back to me from either assaulters. So I know where I stand.
I simply say this because I simply do not find any humor in it. You may well.. And its okay.. It is your right as a citizen and owner.
These times are when one learns about real character of people. I have learned over my lifetime that people will always fail you and they will always disappoint you.. Those times are here.
One exception to this: In combat. The brother next to you will give his life to protect you. And vice versa.
Been there and done that. THOSE are real friends.
Sorry Bob. NEMO is gravely ill and likely terminal. I am in close contact with him. He is in good spirits and is a fighter.
