What I am worried about . . .

Is our new demo-rat overlords using the new tightening
of that 'Section 230' to crush places like Bob's, while
protecting the BLM and antifa type forums.

To put it bluntly, I suspect that anything that does
not adhere to the pandering racists 'opinions' will
be crushed while the real terrorists in America will
be free to use 'social media' platforms for all manner
of unlawful actions.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas argued that Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (CDA) is applied too broadly to social media companies in a recent letter. The law, which was passed at the beginning of the dot-com era, allows internet companies to avoid liability for content that has been posted by users on their platform. According to Thomas, “many courts have construed the law broadly to confer sweeping immunity on some of the largest companies in the world.”

According to a report by Axios, Justice Clarence Thomas suggested that Section 230 of the CDA should be narrowed. Section 230 grants broad legal protections to social media companies with regard to content posted by users.

------------

For now, Bob, you are protected as I read it. In addition, I thought the reference was to Facebook, Twitter, etc. I never even thought of a "smaller" social media company being affected.

Bob, how about if someone (elsewhere) feels the need to attack us? If you're reading all of the boards, then you will see what we do.

People like me think they are following your rules, and would never risk getting the boot from the site, or having you disband it.

We have become friends here. I know that the Popers would hate to see A-Bob's shut down.

Any new pictures of MILA?

Take care!
