A President must be 35. Ben is 36. By the time of the next election, he'll be 39 or 40.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

is Ben old enough to qualify? I do not know how old he is but there is a minimum age standard..

I would like to see someone who is business savvy with a heart for people. A good combination in my opinion.

As I age, my heart grows more tender towards those who have run into hard and difficult time periiods in their lives.

I think back often to the prabale that is in the Bible about the Good Samaritan. Just change that name to "The Good New Hamshiran, Or The Good Ohioan, or Georgian, Tean, Virginian, whatever.. The reason it was included in scripture is because Jesus was teaching US that those who have been blessed with means and talents should HELP those who are in real need when you come across them...

The Samaritan man acame across this beaten up and left for dead man laying dying on the side of the road,

He had a little money and he had compassion so he picked him up and placed him in his cart and took him to nearest INN where he paid the owner to care for this person he did not know and if he owed anything more than he left, he would come back and pay him.

Charity and giving are personal things. I used to not like people on street corners asking for money..

A few weeks ago I was on a trip and was driving to a place and stopped at a light at an intersection. There was a poorly dressed midle aged woman who looked like she was on her last ray of hope so I stopped and spoke with her.

She had lost her job which did not pay her much and she had two children at home.. She was reduced to begging publicly. Think about that for a minute. HOW would YOU feel if you lost everything and were reduced and humbled to have to go beg on a street corner for some stranger to have pity and compassion on you for subsistence.

It was a rare time I ever spoke to someone like this as I have been told that there some who do this for a living and they really are not what they appear to be..

There are, however plenty who actually are and this was one.. My heart went out to her and her situation. I gave her all the money I had in my walletwhich I hoped would be enough o help her for at least a week.

I trusted GOD would multiply the money and cause others to have compassion on this poor woman begging for her children and ashamed to have to be brought low like this.

One day that beggar might be me...

We are ALL BEGGARS in GOD'S SIGHT friends. We ALL are in desperate need of mercy in our lives and GOD was willing and Loving enough to provide us the solution for THAT eternal NEED.

I am thankful that this Christmas season on my last trip before I wille ver see another client prior to surgery and getting well again, that HE brought this poor destitute woman into my life and I had the ability to help her and bring a little ray of love and joy into her grinding misery and give her a little respite. I did not need the money but SHE did.

God has blessed me so beyond anything I ever earned or worked for and my home for eternit is secured forever in Jesus Christ's Sacrifice ofr MY sin debt.

But just remembering this encounter today has taken my mind off of how bad things could get and me feeling my own pain or Nemo his..

I do hope that she was able to have a little ray of sunshine and hope and joy and feel respected and loved before Christmas. THAT was my Christmas gift this year.

It will be with me for some time to come.

My Pastor of some 35 years ago had a saying. He said "A need seen is an assignment given by God" I believe with all my heart he was 100 percent correct. God brings things and people into our lives for different reasons. I am glad forthis encounter because it reminds me so much of the scriptureof that says "but for the grace of God, there go I".

Thank You Lord for providing ALL that You have given to me to take care of and be steward over. Help me to do my best for you to manage it for you as you would have me to do for your glory, In Jesus Name, Amen.
