Absolutely not. Kyle Rittenhouse doesn't need a Presidential pardon - even though he might very much appreciate being relieved of the stress a trial would bring. No jury will convict him given the overwhelming evidence that he was defending himself from armed assailants. They've got video showing him running away from the 1st guy he shot. They've got video showing SOMEONE firing a gun right before Rittenhouse started shooting. They've got it on video that one of the people he later shot also had a gun out. No, there won't be any conviction. This is open and shut, self-defense.

Rittenhouse is better off being tried - hopefully in a televised trial so that the public can see how weak the case against him is. He'd be found Not Guilty.

I expect this thing to drag out for a while, but the prosecution or judge will eventually drop the case. A show trial would be fruitless and embarrassing.
