...if ya work on it before you take it to somebody who knows what they are doing it will cost you twice as much.

BTW: The zero turn mower quit today. Just going across the yard and it quit. I had been cutting grass up in what we call "the field" which is mostly dirt and tall weeds. Kinda like the fairway on a golf course in Texas. Did ya know that in Texas if ya ball lands in any of that "green stuff" ya get a free drop. I wear a mask when I cut it to keep my lungs from filling up with dirt and crap. Im sure that is what the problem is, but I just don't feel like working on it right now. My back is fussing at me.

...there is probably an air filter on ya blower and it could be fulla dirt. Maybe just taking the top of the thing off, removing the filter and cleaning it will fix the problem.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!

Re: “My advice on carbs is don't puts with them Ya can only make whatever the problem is worse. Remove the hose that brings the fuel to the carb and spray some carb cleaner into it. Then spray some of that magic starter fluid into it.”
Yeah, I think it's got a carburetor. The fuel line between the tank and the carb was my first guess since the primer bubble doesn't seem to be pulling fuel up the way it used to. If I can unclog it, I will. And if it turns out to be the carburetor, I'll take a stab at it. What's the worst I can do? Break something that's already broken? Besides, I just watched a Youtube video and the guy did the whole job in just 9 minutes. Doesn't look hard at all - though, of course, he had replacement gaskets and washers at hand and I don't.... Sad

Thanks for the advice.
