"Our electoral system" doesn't expect people to vote by mail, you ditz. It *permits* them to do so - with the expectation that this will be the exception, not the rule. Not every jurisdiction even allows for it. Vote-by-mail is neither secure nor timely. All sorts of people handle (and mishandle) the mail, and there is no guaranteed delivery date. This is why the founders did not design elections to be run through the USPS.

President Trump thinks that election security matters. You, a particularly stupid and corrupt Democrat, do not.
