Jesus is speaking..
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
The Lord Jesus after he ascended into heaven went to prepare a dwelling there for those of us who will be coming. The ones who are coming are those who place their FAITH and TRUST in Jesus for their salvation and nothing else or nobody else.
We have a beautiful place waiting for us to dwell in eternally and to be where HE IS! He created us and made us after his own image and loved us so much He gave HIMSELF as a sacrificial offering for all our sins that WHOSOEVER WILL COME UNTO HIM HE will SAVE THEM and bring them home to HIM in Heaven when it is their time to go there.
