A lie detector test sounds like a helpful solution. Although it's possible he has no memory of what occurred, because he was drunk.

Senator Feinstein respected the wishes of Dr Ford to protect her identity.
She believed it was her civic duty to give the senator the info, but had hoped to keep her privacy. The senator then gave the info to the FBI to investigate.

There are a few years difference in their ages, he was 17, I think she was 14. Would make it more traumatic for her.
His friend had a history of drunkenness, he was the witness. He's been sober for some time according to reporting.

Can Kavanaugh name those 65 'girls' that vouched for him?
Is he willing to have a lie detector test, like she did?
