All Congress has to do is submit laws for signature on the morning before his golf trip and they know he will sign them. The presidential veto is less powerful than Trump's wish to amuse himself.
Forgive me, but it almost sounds as if Trump hadn't read any part of the bill and it didn't know what was in it.
Or as if the two sides in Congress are in cahoots to keep the government open at the cost of compromise, knowing that the President will sign anything rather than lose a day of golf.
