Otoh, I think there are two things that would be determining in what happens:

A. Does N Korea do anything stupid that would cause any US President to wipe Pyonyang off the map? Amd who blame that person?

B. Making sure Seoul would be quite safe in such an instance.

I believe Pyonyang can de wiped, and all leadership vaporized, no one to order anything left.

Question is what will the Chinese fo then. See, it is ....complicated. And simple. Both.
