I imagine the Russians say the same thing.
It's a strange thing for America to be kinda one of the bad guys in the world. I used to think if Russia was on one side and the US president was on the other, I would always support the US. But no longer. Putin's not that much worse than Trump. The are both lying megalomaniacs
This is the way America is now seen by many. Ever since dropping out of the climate change thing, with Trump threatening all of the world's trading treaties and barging European leaders out of the way. Heck I don't like many of those Euroleader guys either, but come on.
A country's leader is its representative.
America is increasingly marginal. Its reality seems internally important. But outside, folks are looking elsewhere for leadership.
Its actions over Jerusalem revealed just how few care what America wants these days.
It's a great shame. American democracy has more-or-less failed. Heck, it doesn't even elect the president with the majority any more.
