No, that most definitely is NOT double-taxation, you disingenuous twit. THAT is taxation by two totally different taxing authorities. The income tax and estate tax being discussed, earlier, are by the SAME taxing authority - the federal government - which is taxing the same earnings more than once. Do yourself a favor, zzshart ... quit being such an obvious ignoramus. Rolling Eyes

The federal government has absolutely NO obligation to subsidize the residents of Socialist states that choose to tax the sh!t out of them. Your state taxes are a wholly separate and distinct regime; therefore, if you don't like your overall tax bill, you cannot rationally expect the residents of other, far more responsible states to bail you out of your self-imposed slavery ... you either need to use your voting power to restrain the drunken Marxists in your state government or vote with your feet and move to a more responsible state in magnificent "flyover country."
