I find it hard to believe they haven't been faced with family members dealing with health problems & the need for coverage.
Everyone knows a person with either cancer, or diabetes, or high blood pressure, heart issues, etc.
This is because they don't understand healthcare economics, which tells you it won't.
The problem is that Republicans believe a few simplistic things, and scoff at the very notion that there might be complexities around the edges of their ideas. The market works for many things but not for everything.
