it's a fair point, wilful.

i'd still put my faith in law-making incompetence. but the inability to command a majority is a useful back-stop.

i guess we should also contemplate the execution of roles other than law-making. in that sense, pence may be a safer bet. but again, it's difficult to say. do you choose foreign policy chaos or neocon adventurism all over again?

these guys define the choice between worse and worst.

Hi Cactus Flower,

"An incompetent Trump is better than a far right Pence."

Interesting notion. It presumes that a far right member (as prez) would be able to accomplish things. Seems to me, that with far right representing only a small minority of congress - and few or none of the Democrats available - very, very little of the usual far right agenda would be enacted.

Am I missing something?
