Hi Cactus Flower,

"An incompetent Trump is better than a far right Pence."

Interesting notion. It presumes that a far right member (as prez) would be able to accomplish things. Seems to me, that with far right representing only a small minority of congress - and few or none of the Democrats available - very, very little of the usual far right agenda would be enacted.

Am I missing something?

I agree. But his incompetence is a relief.

He can't get things done? Great! Everything he plans looks like a bad idea to me.

Without Putin's direction, he also looks incapable of quasi-dictatorship. And they are investigating that connection which will make it hard for Putin to provide it.

With luck, Trump gets through his presidency and does nothing. In two years, the Dems will hopefully recover congress. And in four, the presidency.

An incompetent Trump is better than a far right Pence.

Meanwhile, hopefully, McConnell retires and the house GOP finds a new direction.
