If every member of the EU left at the same time, would they all owe the now non-existent entity a proportionate sum?

Nope. Their assets and obligations would match one another, giving a net obligation of zero.

Britain may have to pay pensions to British EU workers ... things like that. But those are owed to individuals, not to the EU.

It's an obvious fake argument.
