Schiff presumes Trump told Nunes he was unhappy about the exposure. And so Nunes is closing the doors.
May or may not be so. But cynicism is the natural reaction to a chairman motivated in the ways Nunes has made clear.
ps Not sure why Schiff calls Trump's claims about Obama slanderous. Didn't he write them? Surely this means they are libellous rather than slanderous. Schiff is careful in his use of language so I wonder if there's an explanation. Is Twitter considered a form of conversation?
