Sessions continued to hammer Hillary for lying about emails.

Any one questioning 'if' Sessions wasn't 'truthful', needs to be asked, if Hillary did this, what would they say....

In his short tenure he has already killed the voter supression case in Texas, & given police free reign..

OUST him, if they can ...

Yes. This is very clear.

He wasn't asked whether he talked to the Russian ambassador about things to do with the Trump campaign, whatever that means. He was asked whether anyone associated with the Trump campaign was in contact with representatives of the Russian administration and he volunteered that he personally had not spoken with any of them.

Franken: "CNN has just published a story, and I’m telling you this about a news story that has just been published, so I’m not expecting you to know whether or not it’s true or not, but CNN just published a story alleging that the intelligence community provided documents to the president elect last week that included information that ‘Russian operatives claimed to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump.’ These documents also allegedly say ‘There was a continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government.’ Now again I am telling you this as it’s coming out so, ah, you know… but if it’s true it’s obviously extremely serious, and if there is any evidence that anyone affiliated with the Trump campaign communicated with the Russian government in the course of this campaign what will you do?"

Sessions: “Sen Franken, I am not aware of any of those activities. I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign, and I did not have communications with the Russians, and I am unable to comment on it.”

It's a very weak diversion to pretend the question was intended only in relation to the campaign. There aren't two Jeff Sessions. The Jeff Sessions answering those questions misled the committee under oath that he wasn't in contact when he had been.

If he cannot spot the difference, he is not smart enough to do the job of AG.
