my view is that they should cock up every year. it's the thing that made the ceremony watchable. if it wasn't cruel to the squirrel, i'd recommend putting one in the auditorium next year. now that would be entertaining.
It always kinda bothered me that these folks have turned art into a competition. But now they have worked out how to turn the competition into a dramatic farce, it all seems appropriate again! ;-)
