The 'Billion Dollar Buyer' is a reality-TV show on CNBC where a guy named Tillman Fertitta, the self-made billionaire owner of Landry's, goes around the country and tries to do business with small specialty companies to supply goods and services to his various businesses:

Anyway, our oldest son is an executive with Landry's in Houston, TX. He's the Concept Executive Chef for the McCormick & Schmick's brand, responsible for all of the food preparation operations at over 60 restaurants around the country:

On last night's episode of 'Billion Dollar Buyer' he was one of the Landry people asked to look at how they could use beef from a high-end cattle ranch that was one of the suppliers that Tillman was looking to do business with. He made a 'Country-Fried Steak' dish that Tillman and the other chefs really liked.

This episode will be rebroadcast on CNBC on Tuesday 2/14 at 1:00pm (EST) and again on Saturday 2/18 at 9:00pm (EST) or if you're a cable or online subscriber you might be able to watch in on your computer at:

Anyway, it was cool seeing our son on national TV.
