Trump is planning on screwing with trade pacts & putting tariffs on goods.
That will surely pull the rug out from under, unless he's convinced not to.

One of Trump's flaws, he doesn't admit when he's made an error, nor does he back down.

an aside, 4 star general McCaffery said Trump's statement about Russia & the USA was the most UnAmerican statement ever uttered by a POTUS. He was outraged, like many of us.

It ought to be obvious to everyone.

But I think it will take him time to erode the economy. So long as the Democrats can slow him down for two years. The Obama recovery may have been dull. But it was fairly inexorable and was finally beginning to deliver wage gains. If Trump was sensible, he'll pretend to do a lot but actually he will do very little. Let the process Obama initiated deliver the results he wants to take credit for.
