Well, that's exactly the point. What President Trump did in that executive order was absolutely, undeniably constitutional and within his set of responsibilities under The Constitution ... therefore, it was proper and lawful ... therefore, the acting Obama-appointed AG was NOT saying "no" to any improper action by POTUS, but was playing politics, instead. She deserved to be fired ... and quite honestly, she was BEGGING to be fired ... for cause.

Oh, the irony.
Acting Attorney General fired after saying she won't ask DOJ to defend Trump travel ban
.....
In March 2015, Yates underwent Senate confirmation hearings to become a deputy attorney general under President Obama.

Sessions, one of the lawmakers vetting her, wanted to make sure she was willing to oppose the President if he stepped beyond the rule of law.

“Do you think the Attorney General has the responsibility to say no to the President if he asks for something that’s improper?” Sessions asked.

“If the views the president wants to execute are unlawful, should the Attorney General or the Deputy Attorney General say no?” he stressed.

Yates’ answer gives good insight into how she abruptly found herself without a job Monday after publicly contesting President Trump’s executive order.

“Senator, I believe the Attorney General or the Deputy Attorney General has an obligation to follow the law and the Constitution, and to give their independent legal advice to the president,” Yates said at the time.
