I agree with Trump on this. Mistake.

If you want a grass roots movement, quit giving the microphone to celebrities. You are looking for working and middle class voices. It's their experiences you build a movement on top of. Or promising politicians.

What kind of life does Ashley Judd lead that can bind a movement? How is Madonna helping anyone by talking about blowing up the White House and swearing a lot.

It's not their fault that they dilute the message. But they are not going to provide shafts of insight from their vantage point. Their experience of life doesn't make one think - they know what the problem is. Instead, there's that sense: not them again.

Someone needs to rid the centre-left of their voices. Put their faces in the crowd and that's it. You want authentic, shared experiences, not wealthy, Hollywood lives on the podium.

The Tea Party was smaller in number but they achieved their goals with little of that sort of help.
