As uncultured as he is, and ignorant of world history, he should check out why the Greeks and Athens became the center of the universe a few thousand years ago and why they are still what everything stands on in our modern world: The Arts and Science.

Steve Jobs talked about how much the arts were the main push in his philosophy behind creating the Mac and changing the world.

Kennedy devoted so much to the arts, and Jackie was all about the arts. And America triumphed and created and owes much to his few years in office. The Kennedy Center stands there in his honor.

I mean, when one has to deal with uncultured people one may feel that it is like rolling with pigs in the mud.

Without the arts, life is not worth living. Unfortunately, America's immense power in the arts is under siege, and we WILL SUFFER FOR IT, if we follow that bore's Gingrich's advice.
