Thinking about it, there's a good argument that Trump isn't Putin's puppet.

1. Trump's a megalomaniac and I doubt Putin wants competition.

2. Trump's knee-jerk crazy and controlling him is probably impossible, even for Putin.

3. Trump is candid in his Russian discussion, and I imagine a secret agent would be secretive.

So maybe he's just his own, standalone catastrophe.

Certainly what Putin would want you to believe.

I don't suppose an American president would say such a silly thing, would he?

Oh.

Does it matter if Trump is Putin's puppet. Maybe he just supplies his own string. Either way, it's the same thing.

This is the worst case scenario. We're now highly dependent on people like Rubio, McCain and Graham to stop the nutcase on foreign policy.

Who knew that Republican voters were so pro-Russian?
