Unfortunately, you'd expect denial in every direction for these sorts of stories. To have people believe your denial, you'd need a reputation for honesty. Oh.
How fun for Trump. He has his own birther situation already. Let fake news and real news give birth to a thousand stories. It's a Trump world out there and he should live in it, like everyone else. He, of all people, cannot claim the protection of the truth. His mouth is a river of nonsense and it's fair dinkum and reet proper like and entirely just if the world squirts nonsense right back at him.
ps The story wasn't classified. Ostensibly it emerged from the work of a private company in the UK. They can tell anyone about it if they wish.
pps Personally prefer to live in a world in which integrity is valued by those who lead it and those who write about it.
