The article claims that Americans are fleeing the liberal states of New England. The author is confused.
New England consists of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Only Connecticut made the top ten list of states being fled, and it is countered by Vermont which was on the list of states TO WHICH people are fleeing.
I don't claim to understand why people aren't fleeing Massachusetts and Rhode Island. You couldn't pay me to live in either! But facts are facts and it doesn't do us any good to pretend things are other than as they are.

For those who are curious but didn't read the article, the ten most fled states are:

4. Connecticut

7. West Virginia
8. Ohio
9. Utah
10. Pennsylvania
