Don't you remember from the Bush years when Dick Cheney explained that deficits, and therefore the debt, are ONLY an issue when Democrats are in office, but when it's Republicans the economic laws work differently, to the point that "deficits don't matter".

2017 deficit at $582 billion. Trump's America will have a $30 TRILLION DEBT IN 10 years.

That's what they voted yesterday, and in March, when it comes into effect, they will have to BORROW for it.

Obama took Bush's deficits from the trillions down to under 500 billion, and now republicans are going back the other way, doing a 180.
